"Under Sea" a Chess Set, Hand Crafted Conversation Piece
The chess game pieces are hand created from sculpted clay, fired and finished in hand painted detail. This collectors chess set has all hand made pieces including the board which is made of painted wood with reefs on the corners. The unique gane pieces include the Kings and Queens which are octopi, bishops are eels, knights are seahorses while castles are reefs and the pawns are little fish. This unique piece of conversational art has been finished with a high gloss varnish. Each chess set is custom made to order.

 Kings and Queens are 5 1/2 inches high, bishops are 4 inches high, the knights are 3 inches high, while castles are 2 1/4 inches and the pawns are 1 1/2 inches high. The board is 18" square with a felt bottom.
